I'm very interested in machine learning, information retrieval, high performance and parallel computing. I have one year research experience about information retrieval and compressing inverted index for multi-versioning documents. And I also have been doing research on high performance computing using NVIDIA CUDA GPU based platforms for around three and a half years. Resume is available upon request {aimjwizards at gmail.com}
Project 1: Index Compression for Multi-Version Documents * Proposed a new Index compression scheme that is suitable for multi-version documents, and implemented it by modifying Lemur; the new scheme reduced space by 30% compared to the standard scheme. Project 2: Advanced Strategies for Mapping Algorithms and Applications onto High Performance Computing Systems. * Optimization of Large Size 3D FFT onto CUDA GPUs and FFT based Direct Poisson solvers on Tesla and Fermi Architectures. * Optimization of an FFT based Direct Poisson Solver with Different Boundary Conditions on a CPU-GPU Heterogeneous Platform.
