I recently graduated from Denison University with a major in Global Commerce, focusing on Portuguese. My passions lie in athletics, business, as well as film. Looking forward to applying these skills and knowledge of international supply chains in my new role of Global Sourcing and Operations Manager for Allen Global.
Working as an intern at Allen Global, I gained firsthand experience of the complexities of managing an international corporation. Some of these included: corporate accounting on an international scale, working with bank accounts in various countries and jurisdictions, regulating prices based on currency values and trends, international shipping and global supply chains, and getting to know customers and vendors at trade shows.
At this job, I meet and communicate with a vast variety of people, and find it easy to tailor each conversation with different guests in a manner that both solve their problems, and makes them feel comfortable. Also, cleaning, restocking, customer service, as well as reservation software.
Creating labels, boxes, and packing parts to ship to customers across North America.
