Current duties include: creating, maintaining and updating contract/legal files for clients, capital equipment and services purchases, and vendors. Process Purchase Orders and coordinate the procurement of materials and services necessary to support the manufacturing schedule, taking into consideration the objectives of pricing, quality, lead time, and inventory control. Record and maintain contracts. Set up new vendor accounts, making sure we have all required documentation such as insurance certificates, W-9 forms, and credit applications. Serve as contact for client, vendor, or service provider’s contractual needs. Partner with multiple departments within Cook to ensure the relevance and accuracy of data as well as the needed materials procured to be able to provide the highest quality contract manufacturing and development services to the global biotech community.
Responsible for lead management and trade show logistics. Managed leads on Siebel's CRM OnDemand system. Provided internal pre-conference training and assembled and distributed pre-conference manuals to participants to inform and prepare them for each conference. Generated quarterly lead analysis summaries used to evaluate lead generating venues. Created a year-end summary and quantitative evaluation system that allowed Baxter to rank conferences with a numerical value, creating a quick-glance, objective evaluation of the effectiveness of the conferences attended.
A position I accepted at the request of the VP of Business Affairs (Alisa Wright, current owner/CEO of BioConvergence LLC). I was responsible for creating, organizing, and implementing procedures for the newly created department of Contract Management. For a year and a half I was the sole employee within this department.
