I proudly served the majority of my law enforcement career with the Waushara County Sheriff's Office, rising through the ranks from Patrol Officer to Detective, Detective Sergeant, and ultimately Chief Deputy, a position I held for the final six years of my service. Throughout my career, I remained committed to professional growth, operational excellence, and advancing public safety within the county. As Chief Deputy, I focused on modernizing agency capabilities and strengthening training standards. I established the county’s first Unmanned Aerial Systems (drone) program and launched its first formal Accident Reconstruction program, enhancing investigative capacity and response effectiveness. I played a key leadership role in implementing the agency’s body-worn camera program, increasing transparency and accountability. Additionally, I oversaw the acquisition of the Flock Safety camera system, expanding the Sheriff's Department's investigative tools. A major priority during my tenure as Chief Deputy was elevating the quality and quantity of training. I transitioned the agency toward a more scenario-based training model, ensuring deputies were better prepared for real-world situations and critical decision-making under stress. My career has been defined by steady leadership, innovation, and a commitment to serving the community with integrity and professionalism.
