1. In charge of the cloud BMS algorithm development, including the function of battery thermal runaway early warning, battery failure detection, SoC and SoH estimation, battery remaining useful life estimation. The cloud BMS has already served several EV manufactures, helping them reducing battery thermal runaway risk significantly. 2. Lead the battery safety developing team, taking care of the battery safety issue from the cell quality control, battery module/pack assembly, on-board BMS algorithm development and on-line application monitoring; 3. Responsible for the market insight analysis, organize different filed experts to analyzing influencing battery technology, competitor or government’s new policy.
1. Lead the detailed design, testing strategy analysis and execution, safety and lifecycle management for energy products. 2. Lead the network locating and resolution, site deployment support, and PK test for energy products.
Simulation of 3D deposition processes of thin films by developing a Monte-Carlo model. Good agreement between the model and experiments was achieved in all cases. The optimized deposition parameters are applied to predict the film thickness profiles in narrower micro-structures.
Research topic: 3D integrated all solid state Li-ion batteries 1. Developed and optimized the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) processes of various battery film components (LiCoO2, Li4Ti5O12, Li3PO4, TiO2 etc.) by combining experimental, numerical and analytical work. 2. Prepared full pack thin film batteries for in-situ investigation of the transportation of lithium ions by neutron depth profiling. 3. Student guiding, lecturing and examining courses and writing lecture notes and research papers. 4. Studied specialist courses (i.e. solid state physics, electrochemistry and kinetics), trainings and attending international conferences.
