I am an enthusiastic graduate student at studying biostatistics in UW and willing to learn new skills and knowledge. I like the field of computational biology, which leads me to work on bioinformatics and biostatistics. I was volunteering in UCSD laboratories on bioinformatics projects using RNA seq analysis, single cell analysis and etc skills.
- Supported and create pipeline for a postdoctoral project on tumor-infiltrating CD8 T cell single-cell RNA sequencing, refining automated methods and selectively applying traditional manual techniques to correct identified inaccuracies in cell_type identifications.
- Explored critical differences in monocyte gene expression between remission and relapse stages in B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia patients, identifying Interferon-Stimulated Genes (ISGs) as differentially expressed on chimeric T-cell immunotherapy in B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. - Conducted immune infiltration analyses and of TCGA datasets, revealing correlations between microRNA profiles and immune response in breast and colon cancer.
