I am a current student at Nanyang Polytechnic studying at the hospitality and tourism course who is aspiring to work at the passenger services industry in Singapore. Now I am prioritizing in exploring, experiencing, learning new opportunities and ideas to expand my wealth of knowledge and the way I do it is by traveling. I am also willing to not give up when facing difficult situation and I would continue till the end in order to reach my goals. I can also work with others so that I can listen to their point of view and learn new advice from them. My goal is now to expand my knowledge and to understand more about the world.
During my internship at Intercruises, i worked as a ground handling agent handling check in for cruise guest, giving directional and assisting cruise guest who need assistance. Adaptability: I have to work with different cruise line so i have to learn different protocols and systems in order to provide service to their expectation Teamwork: I have to work closely with my other colleagues to ensure that we can get our tasks done as fast as possible like after a hard close at the pier, I have to do teardown and prepare the setup for the next cruise to ensure the next cruise call has a smooth operation. Problem Solving: Many Customers have to come to me asking me about their missing luggage, how to retrieve their booking on the cruise app and denied guest asking me on how to get to there hotel. I have to think outside the box in order to solve the problem Customer service: I have to ensure guest has a a smooth experience when checking them in or when handling their enquiry or if they have a complain, I have to remain calm and ensure that the complain has been resolved in a professional and calm manner
During my internship at PIctureworks, I will take pictures of guest at the canopy park and after that, I will do my best to sell the photos to them. Sales: I manage to enhance my sales skills by promoting their picture and convince them to buy the pictures using the proper tone and offering them special deals to get them to buy. Photography: I took photos of guests mostly at the Canopy Park at Jewel but also at the Singapore Zoo, most of the guest that i took photo with actually like the photo especially the way i took it and as a result most of them bought the photo.
