My focus is on building innovation & tech ecosystems to tackle the societal challenges of our time by forming and directing new organisations where multiple private and public stakeholders join forces. Campus@Sea is an innovation cluster and fieldlab to accelerate offshore innovations for sustainable multi-use of the North Sea. Multi-use by realizing smart combinations of offshore renewable energy, aquaculture, marine ecosystem restoration, safety & security at sea. Our community based on the quadruple helix model of collaboration meets in the harbor of Scheveningen or works at the sea labs 'Proeftuin op de Noordzee' and 'Offshore Test Site SCH'.
Wings For Aid, a community powered by experts, has developed a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System that delivers humanitarian goods to people isolated by natural disasters and man-made crises safely and with pinpoint accuracy.
We are Nextco, a partnership of pragmatic idealists with the passion and ambition to increase the impact of innovation on shaping our future. Our mission is to build and implement new initiatives in which businesses, academia, governments and NGOs collaborate to develop innovations that contribute to the wellbeing and welfare of this generation and the generations to come. We are optimistic about the future of our world, and realistic about what is needed to secure it. We believe that innovation – technological, organisational, financial and social – is needed to meet the demands of this generation, as well as the next generations, for health, security, education, employment, and mobility.
