Member of the Web Experience team. This team was responsible for handling both the frontend architecture to enable dozens of teams to be able to efficiently deploy user facing features, the design system used by teams and the navigation experience of the Toast backend platform. Led and delivered several successful projects improving the navigation experience of Toast.
Building software for secondary level education institutes across the Irish and Norwegian markets. Helped build, maintain and direct the architecture of large scale VueJS & React projects. Helping lead the delivery of business critical features for Norwegian schools. Introduced and maintaining a testing culture, providing mentorship and training to team of frontend developers of various levels on testing and software quality practices from unit, integration and end to end.
Responsible for maintaining and delivering features across the mobile and desktop websites of Daft.ie. Core part of the team responsible across the company and sister brands of DoneDeal.ie and Adverts.ie to bring the next generation of frontend experience to the end user.
Member of the team responsible for the development of the Marketing Email application for the HubSpot platform. On the marketing email team, undertook ownership of the editor responsible for enabling users to send their marketing emails in an environment where code is shipped to production multiple times daily. Developed frontend functionality to encourage users not to send to their contacts who haven't opened their previous email, providing statistics on the number of contacts who should be suppressed. Reduced email sent through all of HubSpot. Responded and handled fixes to bug reports in JIRA logged by Support. Coordinating with engineers, product managers, designers, UX researchers, technical guide writers and support both in Dublin and remote offices around the globe to ensure the highest standard of user experience whilst developing and generating requirements.
