Diriyah, a $62 billion development project, is a 7 km2 mixed-use historic, culture and lifestyle destination. Diriyah, and its UNESCO World Heritage Site At-Turaif, will become the Kingdom’s historic and cultural heart, engaging and inspiring set of heritage, hospitality, education, retail and dining experiences for residents, tourists and frequent visitors. The historic town of Diriyah will be transformed into a global tourism destination with its main anchors rooted in its historic culture and heritage. It will be home to more than twenty luxury and ultra-luxury hospitality venues offering genuine experiences that reflect the rich history and culture of Diriyah and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ultimately, the destination will include museums, galleries, restaurants, retail experiences, public squares, hotels, multiple recreational spaces, residences, educational institutions and offices.
New Doha Metro project in Qatar - Green Line, PORR-SBG-HBK, joint venture of Porr Bau GmbH, Saudi Bin Laden Group Riyad and HBK Contracting Company W.L.L. Consists of 2 x 16.5 km of tunnel, six stations and one external switch box, two crossovers, four emergency exit shafts up to 40 m deep, 32 cross-cuts and two additional combined emergency exit/MEP shafts. Order volume amounts to QAR 8.989 billion ($2,200M as of June 2013).
Pumping station with 10 pumps and auxiliary facilities including the construction of a 10 km tunnel of 3.7 m diameter. Total cost $ 250 mill (QAR 920 million). Operating at a capacity of 19.7 m3/s, its function is to pump storm water from Mesaimeer Tunnel to the new outfall tunnel. Designed to ensure the preservation of the marine environment, the water previously pre-treated, will be discharged ten kilometers off-shore to reduce the effect on the marine environment.
