I currently work in the RMA area for the telecommunications server sector, providing support for Cisco. My main responsibility is to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on units returned by end customers in order to identify the root cause of server failures in the field and define containment and corrective actions. My responsibilities include preparing technical presentations for both the end customer and Cisco, documenting the findings, evidence, and conclusions obtained during failure analysis investigations. In addition, I provide technical guidance and troubleshooting methodologies for fault duplication, fault isolation, and validation of customer-reported issues, working closely with Cisco engineers to improve the quality of their new products.
My responsibilities included monitoring and reducing defective product inventory (Bonepile) and managing material aging. I provided support to the production line by implementing immediate containment actions for endemic failures while conducting investigations to identify the root cause of the issues. I have experience in electronic manufacturing processes and validation testing, including AOI, AXI, ICT, Strain Gauge, Cross Section, FVT, ESS, and Burn-In testing, as well as engineering tools such as Allegro, LabVIEW, ODB, and Texas Instruments Power Designer.

Durante mi estancia me dedique al diagnostico de tarjetas electrónicas a nivel HLA . • Lectura de logs de falla, esquemáticos y scripts. • Análisis de fallas epidémicas en tarjetas electrónicas. • Creación de reporte de análisis de fallas para reclamo a proveedor FAR . • Método de cortos. • Ejecuciones de pruebas en el simulador de PuTTY bajo protocolo SSH pruebas remotas o COM • Manejo de comandos en la Shell de linux CentOs. • Conocimiento en protocolos de comunicación SMBus, I2C, SPI,UART, PCIE. • Conocimiento y uso de equipos de Medición. • Conocimiento y uso en Software Allegro. • Montaje de unidades a equipos de prueba FVT para ejecuciones de prueba. Detección de fallas complejas utilizando métodos de diagnóstico.
