Industrial Security Expert | Operations & Project Management Leader I am a retired Army veteran with a solid foundation in industrial security, intelligence analysis, and managing sensitive and mission-critical operations. Responsible for managing the industrial security program and security operations at a contractor-owned and operated facility, ensuring compliance with the intelligence community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), and company security policies, procedures, and requirements. This includes maintaining the accreditation posture of the SCIF. Key responsibilities include conducting self-inspections, managing document control, responding to security alarms, and overseeing personnel and physical security. Provide expert security guidance and recommendations to client-facing staff at all levels and investigate non-compliance issues. • Manage security clearance processes for organizational employees, offering guidance on related matters to both management and personnel. • Ensure the multi-customer SCIF complies with regulations, remains inspection-ready, and meets all customer requirements. • Establish and maintain key security documentation, including DD-254s, accreditation letters, 701/702s, Fixed Facility Checklists , TEMPEST, access lists, standard operating procedures, and Emergency Action Plans. • Manage communication security (COMSEC) accounts for multiple customers, ensuring compliance and operational readiness to support mission requirements. • Seamlessly fill in for the Facility Security Officer during absences, ensuring continuous compliance with 32 CFR regulations. • Served as Site Security Manager for TEMPEST upgrade of secure facility, ensuring compliance with ICD 705 standards. • Collaborated with various market teams to develop and refine site specific security sections of requests for information and proposals.
Facility Security Officer / Contract Program Security Officer, San Antonio, TX June 2021 - March 2023 Lockheed Martin Responsible for establishing and implementing a NISP-compliant security program, including developing Site Security Policies and guard post procedures derived from Corporate Command Media policies across multiple programs. Ensure site readiness for inspections, including self-inspections, peer inspections, DCSA Site Vulnerability inspections, and customer audits. Served as a liaison between the Air Force and surface forces engaged in training and combat operations, ensuring seamless coordination and mission effectiveness. Conducted pre-mission planning and analysis for Army ground forces and Air Force MQ-1/MQ-9 pilots, training Air Force mission support analysts on Army doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures. Assessed and briefed on complex military partnerships, operational strategies, regional relations, and potential threats impacting operational capabilities.
