About

I strived to acquire business knowledge and languages, gaining great experiences along the way, as I’ve described below. However, in addition to this, I wanted to make a difference in the world. To have a small impact on people’s lives. Thus, I left my job at Atrium Hopsitality, where I worked with an amazing tax team and awesome people of other departments, and moved to Paraguay. Here, I will devote 2 years of service to helping people in the community improve their lives with projects ranging from teaching English and computer classes to doing talks on savings and budgeting to counseling small businesses. My desire is to use my skills to assist others. Plus, I get to learn the indigenous dialect of Guaraní along the way! It’s a win-win. Past experiences - I passed all 4 CPA exams, while taking and completing a full workload of Master of Public Accountancy classes at Georgia State University. As for undergrad, I graduated Suma Cum Laude from GSU with a double major in Accounting and Managerial Science, along with a Certificate in International Business. I also did a rotational and tax internship with EY. In addition to the degrees, certificates, and amazing internship experiences, what really sets me apart is my international experience. During my years at Georgia State, I completed a total of 1.5 years studying abroad in China. This has helped me understand the Chinese culture, as well as the Mandarin Chinese language. Now, I can speak, read, and write not only English and Spanish, but also Mandarin Chinese.
