About

Strategic relationship building and community-centered leadership are at the core of my professional journey. I am passionately driven by the belief that collaborative partnerships and data-informed, proactive communication can navigate complex policy landscapes to deliver meaningful impact. Guided by a commitment to inclusivity, transparency, and innovation, I strive to foster environments where regulatory challenges become opportunities for growth and community advancement. With extensive expertise in government affairs, public policy strategy, regulatory management, and stakeholder engagement, I bring a multifaceted approach to advancing infrastructure and community initiatives. My specialty lies in cross-functional leadership, legislative and regulatory strategy, and managing large-scale infrastructure expansion efforts. I excel at uniting diverse teams and external partners to achieve accelerated project completion, streamlined permitting, and effective advocacy that aligns corporate interests with public good. Throughout my career, I have secured key multimillion-dollar permits that significantly expedited infrastructure expansion, including Montgomery County’s vital blanket permit enabling 40,000+ new passings. I have led high-profile public events to elevate stakeholder engagement and brand visibility for Comcast, and played a pivotal role in strategic advocacy campaigns like the RISE package and Internet Essentials rollouts. Beyond professional achievements, I am honored to serve on boards and committees such as Leadership Houston and the Greater Houston Partnership, and have been recognized as a Top 4 Under 40 honoree and Woman of Achievement in community activism. I am eager to leverage my strategic vision and collaborative mindset to build innovative solutions that bridge public and private sectors for long-term community benefit. My goal is to partner with organizations seeking to navigate regulatory complexities, drive policy innovation, and foster meaningful community relationships that translate into sustainable growth. Let’s connect to explore how we can create impactful strategies that empower both people and progress.

  • Animal No Kill Team Program Associate at San Antonio Area Foundation
    Oct 2011 - Sep 2013 · 2 yrs

As a program associate with the Animal No Kill Team my focus is to improve the online communication that the No Kill initiative has in San Antonio. I am responsible for strengthening our community relationships through bilingual communication efforts as well as creating innovative way to spread the No Kill message across the city. As program associate, I took pride in heading up social media campaigns and public events, working to make San Antonio a “No-Kill” City. My biggest accomplishment at the San Antonio Area Foundation was getting spay/neuter providers to set aside their competitiveness for the sake of the community, creating a space where everyone’s goals could be reached while also serving the needs of the City. I served as a community convenor through the planning of four major events each year: Bark in the Park, Paws and Pints, Community Conversation, and Howliday Party. The largest event that I spearheaded was San Antonio’s “Bark in the Park” which, promoted pet adoption, spay/neuter, and how to be a good pet owner all in one event. In its first year, it had 3,500 attendees and completed 100 same day free spay/neuters. The following year I increased our attendees to 5,000 and completed 250 same day free spay/neuters. For the second annual event, I oversaw 300 volunteers, 45 organizations, 5 food trucks, 9 celebrity judges, sponsorships, children's activities, and entertainment. These prototype events were the first of their kind for San Antonio and served as catalysts for many of the pet events ongoing in the San Antonio Area today. I also created two websites for the San Antonio Area Foundation’s “Talk About It!” program one in English and another in Spanish.
