Report to Marketing Director and oversee champagne and wine portfolio, including five of world-leading and prestige champagne brands, Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Armand de Brignac. As well as eight international award-winning wine brands from New World and Old World. Cloudy Bay from New Zealand, Terrazas from Argentina, Joseph Phelps, Newton, Skyside from Napa Valley and California, Chandon Sparkling from Australia, Chateau d’Esclans and Minuty from Provence Rose. Marketing Strategy - Develop champagne and wine marketing strategies, in alignment with broader Maisons’ (headquarters’) strategies and plans, and define marketing priorities and objectives - Provide clear strategic marketing direction to the Sales teams and other key stakeholders, lead the delivery of prioritized brand goals and objectives Business Development - Work with sales, business planning, and demand planning team to deliver volume target through marketing campaigns and trade activations - Identify and develop new growth opportunity on new brands, markets and channels Commercial Efficiency - Review distribution achievements monthly (sales result, stock in trade by channel, market penetration) and take corrective action if necessary. - Oversee the implementation of optimal pricing strategy, in collaboration with Business Planning, Sales, Finance teams and Maisons to maximize profit and volume growth - Monitor RSP to ensure the profitability to trade partners. - Work with Finance to define, track and deliver brand profit goals People Management - Share and communicate vision and strategy to team member - Manage, motivate, train, develop and retain team member and potential to guarantee efficiency
- In charge of all wine and spirit brands’ (total of 14 brands) PR to implement communication programs and sustain premium brand image and awareness - Keep high quality PR performance and maintain leading PR performance in wine & spirit category for top three brands, Hennessy, Glenmoarngie and Moët & Chandon - Work closely with marketing manager to create break-through PR campaigns - Liaise with regional/global communications team to develop PR plans - Maintain media relations and handle media inquiries
Corporate Social Responsibility - To lift CSR awareness by initiating philanthropic campaigns on two of the main issues surrounding women: breast cancer and domestic violence. - To collaborate with NGOs by conducting breast cancer and domestic violence fund-raising campaign on Avon brochure and provide the funding to support breast cancer survivors to reconstruct their breast in order to re-building their confidence and empowering their life (according to survey indicated over 90% breast cancer survivors depressed and lost confidence with their family, co-workers and even husband) - To collaborate with a clinic to organize breast cancer screening events in Avon stores island-wide - To enhance involvement and synergy of employees and sales representatives through a charity campaign Internal Communication - Formulate communication messages for General Manager in Staff meeting - Work with the regional team to prepare communication message by leverage CEO’s letter and video from global communication team as the to empower employee and sales representative Product PR - Develop and maintain media relations to increase the awareness of Avon products Press release preparation and distributing to media Media coverage monitoring and follow up Media interviews, media co-ops arrangement to Sales Representative Crisis Communication - To anticipate and observe issues from media reports, key stakeholders and government’s action - To work with Call Center, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources departments to develop a statement and Q&A for customers, sales representatives and employees to control and minimize the crisis - To liaise with media to minimize the effect of the crisis
