I started my career in transportation in 2004. I am well versed in most aspects of the business including customer service, operations and sales. My first eight years in the industry were spent in the office. I fielded customer service calls, worked OSD, dispatched, billed and handled maintenance/parts issues. In 2011 I started doing inside sales on a part time basis while also handling my current functions in the office. I was very successful with that position and was promoted to outside sales (Account executive). I am now responsible for cultivating new business and maintaining current accounts in the Hampton Roads/Tidewater area.
Responsible for fielding customer service calls and handling OSD. Also kept files on driver logs and line haul pay sheets. I also filled in for dispatch during city and linehaul operations.
Made deliveries, took customer orders via phone and in person, processed customer account payments and made floral arrangements.
