About

I am a good team player with leadership qualities and am keen to share my wealth of practical knowledge and at the same time, to observe and learn from those around me. Respecting each organizational member as an individual and understanding how their different styles can work together to form a cohesive team is the essence of effective team management, I am able to work with different people. I have a deep appreciation for effective training and development, as well the importance of maintaining an open communication between organizational members. In my previous role as the Global Mobility Manager for Unilever, I was responsible for the Global Mobility services delivered to North Asia, Singapore and Philippines. Being self-driven, I made it a goal to seek continuous process improvements and provided consultative advice and recommendations to internal customers on company policies and processes, as well as maintain close connection and partnering with the businesses on assignment management strategies. With an eye for detail, strong organizational skills, I derived job satisfaction in delivering quality service with desired results to both internal stakeholders and customers. Thereby, I have a general appreciation of tax, immigration, social security and cross-border payroll compliance. Prior to Unilever, I was the Senior Manager for Singapore Operations with Pricoa/Brookfield, managing a team providing relocation and immigration services to a wide portfolio of local, regional and global clients in accordance to contractual obligations, as well as being involved in general office management. I also restructured the role and responsibilities of employees in order to enhance work efficiency and service delivery to our clients. Building good and successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders are equally important and this is a delicate balance which I have developed the required skill, sensitivity and tactfulness to maintain.
