Working within Risk Assurance (2nd Line Risk, Enterprise Risk), I was responsible for planning, leading and executing risk and reviews, control assessments and identifying business improvement opportunities within Westpac's Wealth division (BT Financial Group) to provide an independent assurance opinion on the effectiveness and maturity of the business. Working closely with the 1st Line of Defence and other 2nd Line risk functions to ensure key risks and obligations are being adequately mitigated or managed.
The IIA-Australia Youth Leadership Committee is a select group of young internal auditors who engage with the IIA-Australia Board and staff to recommend strategies and approaches to better engage with other young internal auditors and encourage membership of IIA-Australia.
