About

My story started with a paintbrush and a sketchpad. As a kid, I could disappear for hours in my own creative world, drawing and painting until the sun went down. That early love for visual expression eventually took shape through formal training at the art academies in Berchem and Antwerp, where I built a strong foundation in creative thinking and visual storytelling. But while I’ve always been drawn to art, I’ve been equally intrigued by something less visible but just as complex: the human mind. Why do we behave the way we do? What drives our choices? How do we connect and communicate? That curiosity led me down the path of behavioral psychology. I dove into it through both self-study and academic routes, gradually building up a strong understanding of how people tick. It turns out that the combination of creativity and behavioral insight is a pretty powerful mix—especially in the world of marketing and communication. That’s where I found my sweet spot: bringing ideas to life while staying deeply tuned in to what really moves people. I’m fascinated by the “why” behind human behavior, and I love turning those insights into meaningful strategies, messages, and campaigns. Fast forward to today, and I’m diving head-first into the world of artificial intelligence. It’s a game-changer—reshaping how we create, collaborate, and communicate. I see AI not as a threat, but as a tool that, when used thoughtfully, can unlock incredible value, boost innovation, and take human creativity to a whole new level. It’s an exciting time to be working at the intersection of tech, storytelling, and human behavior. Alongside my professional journey, there’s another theme that runs through everything I do: diversity and inclusion. Years ago, I co-founded a nonprofit that supports LGBTQI+ individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. That work shaped me deeply, and it’s something I continue to carry forward. Today, I’m proud to be president of Proud@KBC, our LGBTQI+ employee network, and actively involved in our company’s “Diversity Rocks” initiative. I believe diverse teams aren’t just more creative and resilient—they’re essential to building a future that works for everyone. At the heart of it all, I’m driven by the idea that real innovation happens when you bring different perspectives together—creatives and analysts, techies and humanists, dreamers and doers. That’s the space I love to work in. So if you’re into creativity with purpose, Let’s connect
