Marine consultancy services to all superyachts Procurement in the yachting industry plays a crucial role in ensuring that the necessary materials, equipment, and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively to support yacht construction, maintenance, and operation -Sourcing Materials and Supplies for my clients Responsible for identifying and sourcing high-quality materials, such as steel, aluminum, composites, and luxury finishes - Ensuring that the right materials and supplies are available when needed is critical in the yachting industry. Procurement is involved in managing inventory levels to prevent delays in construction or maintenance - Coordinating the logistics of transporting materials and equipment, especially for international projects, is a critical function of procurement. This includes managing shipping, customs, and delivery schedules. - Meet the client to discuss the work to be carried out onboard, including engine works, miscellaneous tasks, interior requirements, and other coordination as requested by the client Experience gained: Assisting the company in running the full-fledged operations of the Phuket business independently for half a year, from managing on-the-ground activities to serving clients.
