Hi! I am a Chemistry and Food Science graduate from NTU with a strong interest in the science and technology behind the food and beverages we consume every day. I am passionate about applying this knowledge to real-world product development. I’m open to opportunities that allow me to grow and also contribute meaningfully to food innovation - in both ingredient application and new product development!
- Applied functional proteins into various applications for dairy & beverage including fermented and non-fermented milk, protein bars and healthy snacks. - Conducted pilot plant trials for product formula scale-up including operating UHT equipment, homogeniser and bar line. - Involved in the development of ready-to-mix powdered beverages that meet the overall flavour and nutritional requirements of business partners. - Conducted shelf life and stability studies of products using pH meter, rheometer, particle size analyser, centrifuge, acidity titrator and texture analyser.
- Flavour application of Sweet & Beverage samples such as energy drinks, carbonated soft drinks, flavoured water, juices, acidified and non-acidified milk. - Conducted basic quality control tests on finished products including pH, Brix and titratable acidity. - Conducted pilot plant trials and learnt the operation of various processing equipment including UHT, retort and carbonating equipment. - Conducted basic sensory tests. - Involved in an individual project on taste modulators and presented findings to the team.
