About

I have been serving as an Aviation Industry leader with over 40+ years of Air Traffic Control (ATC), Air Traffic Management (ATM), Information Technology (IT) and Program Management experience with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Transportation (DOT). Serving in the United States Navy (USN) Vietnam Era Veteran. Significant experience with government contracting, business development capture, program management, talent acquisition, and building strategic alliances partnerships. Currently working as a Senior Partner/VP of Aviation with Indev, an industry small business leader in IT Modernization, Data Transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Integration, Cybersecurity, Air Traffic Control Engineering and Training, and Cloud Migration. I served as an FAA Air Traffic Controller in various facilities including: Anchorage Tower (ANC), Minneapolis Enroute Air Traffic Control Center (ZMP), Anchorage Terminal Radar Approach Control (A11 TRACON) and the Potomac Consolidated (PCT) TRACON, and FAA Headquarters in Washington DC as a Senior leader of FAA’s Key programs. Retired from FAA after 24 yrs. I participated in developing the FAA’s NextGen Program and European Sky ATM Research Program (SESAR). Represented FAA Air Traffic Controller workforce issues from 1987-2001, serving as the National Air Traffic Controller Assn. (NATCA) Liaison to the FAA's Free Flight Program Office. Leading consensus-based teams and successfully delivered a variety of technical programs improving NAS capacity. Served as a NATCA national representative on several industry government partnership groups and technology teams in the FAA. I served in leadership positions at Indev, UNITECH and CSSI Inc. leading and managing programs and task orders under the FAA’s Controller Training Solutions (CTS), NAS Enterprise Architecture (NASEA), SETA II and Systems Engineering (SE-2025), PSS and ITIPSS contracts. I have lead or participated in several capture efforts which have resulted in large contract awards with the FAA in Systems Engineering and Air Traffic Organization (ATO) and NextGen program support. I’m interested in leveraging my work experience in the Aviation industry to address U.S and global Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Information Technology (IT) challenges. I have been involved in leading and/or managing efforts to evolve and modernize ATM airborne and ground systems and introduction of unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into NAS operations. I'm also interested in helping to deliver the Brand New Air Traffic Control System into the NAS.
