Leading a team of staff dealing with the increased deaths associated with the Covid-19 pandemic. Overseeing the establishment and operation of temporary mortuaries and engagement with the wider sector to ensure the deceased are treated with dignity and respect, and the bereaved with care and compassion. Working with Surrey NHS hospital and primary care trusts, the Surrey Coroner and Service, registration service, funeral directors, crematoriums and local authorities and organisations with responsibility for burials. Also working with local faith and community leaders.
