Mr. Schneider has been a Managing Director at PIMCO since 2008 leading short-term portfolio management leveraging nearly three decades of investment experience to drive exceptional results. In 2015, he was honored to be recognized as Morningstar’s U.S. Fixed-Income Fund Manager of the Year. More recently, the short term desk received the 2024 Lipper Award under the Ultra-Short Obligation Funds classification. Before his tenure at PIMCO, Mr. Schneider served as Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns. His educational background includes a degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from NYU Stern.
