Since I was young I have a passion for technology, especially for computers and automation. I like to work in knowledge intensive environments and to understand complex systems or processes. Due to my strong analytical and creative skills and because I love to learn I'm able to provide innovative solutions and new ideas. That's also why I like to work as a technical consultant, (lead-)developer or software architect in an agile team. It gives me energy to deliver solutions that has an added value for the customer. My focus is on the Microsoft .NET framework in combination with SQL server and web technologies.
Within Tensing I worked for the product development department, this department is responsible for developing and expanding the Tensing software products using Microsoft technology. These products are mainly focused on automating field service processes. My function as technical consultant/senior software developer was, among others: gathering requirements and translate requirements into functional specifications, designing software architecture, making technical designs and software implementations. For most projects we worked using the agile Scrum methodology. The largest project I worked on was a completely new field service solution for one of the largest utility companies in California. For this project I created the architecture of the new WPF client for the 1000+ field workers, designed the initial version of the new server and client data model using Entity Framework and developed the base version of the database synchronization solution. Technologies used: .NET 4, WPF, WCF, Sync Framework, SignalR, Entity Framework, Prism, MVVM, Dependency Injection, ASP.NET MVC, JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX, SQL Server, Performance Optimization, Bootstrap
Created a platform and interface that served as a web to print solution with a focus on marketing. Consumers could design business cards, post cards or skins and upload images. Orders were automatically pre-pressed and send to the press.
