About

With almost 30 years of experience in the Leisure & Entertainment industry, I see myself as an allround manager, creative developer and project director. With an emphasis on sales & marketing over the past decades, I have been involved in projects as diverse as the development from scratch of a stand-alone visitor attraction (Eye on Malaysia), the creative development of a new theme park in Greece and putting together an entertaining and educating exhibition & visitor attraction on Human Space Exploration. I am also active in the field of mergers & acquisitions, assisting attractions and suppliers in the valuation and sale of their property, usually as an on-going business. Most recently, we completed the acquisition of Le Parc du Petit Prince by Ptak/Mandoria. Advising on and selling amusement rides and services for the Zierer factory in Germany (family rides & roller coasters), for Triotech in Canada (media based attractions & dark rides), for nWave Pictures from Belgium (3D and 4D movies for theme parks), HB Leisure from the UK (Skill Games operations in theme parks) and for Mobaro Park from Denmark (Maintenance software for Attractions) is part of my day-to-day activities as well. And from November 2010 until March 2017 also handling all requests for renting large Observation Wheels for Landmark Attractions was added to my responsibilities, as well as the role of Personal Liaison Manager for the new R80XL Giant Observation Wheel, the largest transportable observation wheel in the world. In 2013, I opened an office in Singapore to cater for the growing business in the Asian region. In this office, we represent also all of our partners in this region. Specialties: General management, project direction, sales, marketing, creative development, amusement ride procurement, event production.
