Hello, my name is Jericho Jacala and welcome to my page. I recently graduated with a Combined Bachelor of Arts/Master of Science in Computer Science at Boston University in May 2026. During an internship at Boston University's China Historical Database, I contributed to significant data engineering projects by enhancing duplicate detection software, implementing ETL processes for legacy system integration, and optimizing interactive map systems using React and SQL. Core competencies include building Data Pipelines, Machine Learning Models, and leveraging Cloud-based tools. The importance of focusing on problem-solving and robust engineering of the features that matter are core philosophies of mine. Outside of work, I can be found playing either the piano or the guitar, as I am passionate about music. I also enjoy ultimate frisbee and boxing.
