I am currently one of the youth leaders of my church at Hope Yorkshire. I currently help to oversee 3 youth groups from 3 different cities (Leeds, Bradford, and Hull). My key responsibilities are: - Leadership development: nurturing leadership skills among youth members through mentorship. I currently mentor 2 youth members and we meet up quarterly, either by zoom or in-person. This is where I help my mentees to grow not just in their spiritual walk with Christ, but with also their personal life. If they are having trouble with school, family, friends, I would listen to them and give them advice best suited for their needs. - Youth Programming: This involves planning and organising engaging and youth-oriented programmes, events, and activities. For example, a youth Christmas party, worship/acoustic nights, movie nights, and even youth camps. This creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for young members to connect and grow spiritually. - Counselling and support: This involves offering emotional and spiritual support to youth facing personal challenges. Creating a safe space for open communication and trust.
- Customer Service: I had to provide excellent customer service with a welcoming smile. Assisting customers in placing orders and answering inquiries about the menu. - Order preparation: Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of food orders; following Jollibee's standards for quality and presentation. - Efficient operations: Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Handling transactions accurately and efficiently at the cashier. - Problem Solving: Addressing customer concerns or issues with professionalism and a problem solving attitude. Seeking assistance from supervisors when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
