Originally established as a hair comb manufacturer in 1704, John Dobson (Milnthorpe) Ltd. is a family run company that has been in business more than 300 years! We have a genuine established reputation and are very experienced at producing a quality product at the right price. In time honoured tradition, we still manufacture a range of hair combs here in the UK. Combs include: pocket, head lice (nit), dressing, handle, tail, bridal veil (side). All available in various colours, black, brown or ‘Tortoise Shell effect’. Colours can be matched to your specifications and/or be branded with your logo. (POS counter display units are available.) Over the years we have increased our product range to include a wide variety of fast profit daily use items. Also referred to as ‘Impulse' or 'Distress Purchase’ products, these products are basic daily necessities that virtually sell themselves (even more so during a recession) and will give you a good mark up to enjoy. Product groups include: Chemist ‘Sundries’, Plasters & Bandages, Nail Care, Hair Combs, Hair Brushes, Haberdashery, Sewing Accessories, Shoe & Boot Laces, Stationery Items, Electrical Accessories, Household & D.I.Y. Goods. You can choose any products in the packaging that suits you, at different price points. There are 3 main types of packaging: 1) ‘Duralon Daily Products’ retail packets (Each individual packet has a euro slot for hanging. The packet contents vary depending on the product e.g. 1 x hairbrush, 3 x fuses etc. Each packet is barcoded and usually price marked, but can be supplied without a price mark if required.)* 2) ‘Duralon’ brand A4 size multi cards (Each A4 sized card has a euro slot for hanging and the card usually contains 6, 12 or 24 pieces of each product. The card is then bagged and barcoded.)* 3) Plain BULK packaging (Products are packed in plain cardboard boxes/cartons.) *Display stands are available for the multi cards and retail packets, supplied FREE with an order of certain value.
