With over 15 years as a tax professional in the banking industry, I’ve specialised in a variety of areas across operational taxes and risk management. I continue to enjoy the challenges of the financial industry and embrace the various opportunities to develop and grow from both a professional and personal standpoint. I am a firm believer in giving back and as famously quoted by Anthony Robbins - “Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.” I give a lot of my spare time to help out across a number of local community projects and over the past few years I am proud to say that I’ve been an ambassador for the Transitions Project in Tower Hamlets, East London helping out with their various mentoring programmes. Similarly I’ve continued to support the Reading Partners scheme which is running into its 7th year for me personally at one of the feeder schools in the same community. I am proud to say that I recently featured in the local newsletter as volunteer of the month which is immensely rewarding.
