Work as a Food Rescue ‘Hero’, which involves contacting local grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants to check for food donation availability, picking up and delivering to matching recipients such as homeless shelters, local churches, and food banks. To date, estimated to have personally 'rescued' over 600 lbs of food. Work as a Food Rescue volunteer, which involves rescuing cosmetically flawed produce and products, sorting and delivering them to non-profit partners, thus ensuring no good food goes to waste.
Organize and categorize donated food items to ensure quality and nutritional value before community distribution. Assemble food boxes for families and individuals in low-income communities. Maintain food safety standards while helping streamline the packaging process.
