As a current Sr. Analyst, Supply Planning at SC Johnson, I support SC Johnson’s North America supply chain transactions and its manufacturing production lines through collaboration with manufacturing operations to develop optimal run strategies, balance inventory, CFR, capacity, and production efficiency. With the completion of my MBA in global management and experience at SC Johnson, I bring expertise in supply planning, manufacturing operations, project management, and frontline leadership to my work. •Supporting SC Johnson’s North America supply chain transactions and its manufacturing production lines •Tasked with driving key metrics including schedule adherence, wheel breaks, and frozen horizon schedule change reductions •Carry out projects to streamline supply chain transaction processes and to improve ways of working with key stakeholders
• Tasked with leading a high-skilled team of 36 production operators and 6 Palletizer operators across three production lines. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on 5S, process standardization, safety, quality, and cost reduction. • Develops and executes training plans to enhance team skill sets and ensure adherence to safety and quality policies. •Manages Redzone Operations across 3 production lines and three finished goods palletizers ensuring efficiency in data collection, entry, and analyzation through Redzone huddles and escalations.
• Implemented up-selling strategies such as recommending accessories and complementary purchases to boost revenue. • Maintained organized, presentable merchandise to drive continuous sales. • Assisted customers with finding alternative merchandise to meet needs. • Answered customer questions regarding sizing and accessories and explained how to properly care for merchandise.
Worked under SC Johnson’s Son’s & Daughter’s Program as a processing assistant where I: • Assisted in the labeling and tagging of product and non-product tanks in tank farms across entire Waxdale site • Took inventory of product and non-product valves in Waxdale plant that needed to be labeled and tagged to leverage easier location for operators • Utilized Excel to create workbook/spreadsheets on functional and non-functioning valves to escalate to maintenance team for condition evaluation • Worked alongside CPOs and TA’s (tank assistants) in the 5S process of labeling valves in processing area
Worked at SC Johnson’s Waxdale manufacturing site as a temp-to-hire manufacturing specialist through ManpowerGroup where I: • Kept work areas clean by removing trash and debris and organizing all tools in preparation for next shift. • Prevented equipment jams or wasted materials by setting and verifying accurate parts clearances. • Used hand trucks, forklifts and scissor lifts to complete tasks and transport items. • Boxed, labeled, and transported items to support assembly operations. • Inspected inbound and outbound products for compliance with established industry standards, company policies and procedures.
