I was responsible for the overall performance of the UK&I consulting unit; doubling its revenue over my 3 year tenure. Key highlights include: • Led the definition of a Sales and Marketing Operational and IT strategy for a business unit of a major CPG company; the strategy evolved into a the Customer Lifecycle Transformation Programme. • Led a Customer Transformation and associated Product Assessment and Strategy (conversion from traditional to digital) for a major publishing company.
I managed the Retail, CPG and Logistics Unit for Infosys Consulting UK&I; the unit underwent significant growth through my tenure by focusing on a clear offering and client "value" strategy. I also managed and developed our keynote client engagement. Key highlights include: • Led the definition of a Sales and Marketing IT strategy for a major CPG company which evolved into a sales force optimisation programme leveraging "digital" technology to transform all components of the organisation.
I developed and led the IT Strategy and Global Sourcing Consulting Team. I worked with a diverse set of clients including British Telecom, SICPA, Unilever, Marks and Spencer, Syngenta & P&G. Key highlights include: • Led the definition of a CPG client’s Customer Service Operations Strategy and associated value proposition which included the redefinition of it's core business processes and organisation set up. • Translated a Corporate Strategy into a targeted and embedded $250 million value case and transformation within a global agribusiness.. • Defined an Operational and IT strategy for a major CPG company; the focus was on understanding and translating the Asia Pac & Middle East Corporate Strategy into a discernible Operating Strategy for IT. • Led the development of a full IT Strategy for a high tech security inks company.
Seconded to the World Bank South East Asian Development Facility based in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2004 where I was responsible for translating the World Bank’s Linkage concept into a series of sustainable projects. The ultimate aim of the project was to increase the interaction between small, medium size enterprises and the large local and multinational players. The programme was written up as a notable success leading to my World Bank counterpart being recognised for delivering the most impactful programme of the year.
