Work with development, business teams and understand the software application to be tested Estimate tasks and present plans to project leadership Develop test plans, strategies and examine all aspects of the application from a clients or end-user's perspective and find and eliminate any defects Analyze client requirements Define test cases and maintain trace-ability Prepare test scripts for smoke, functional, integration & regression testing Coordinate in test environment setup Test data setup Test script execution Review test cases , test scripts & test results Troubleshooting, issue reporting, defect tracking & defect retesting Facilitate defect triage meetings with project teams and expedite issue resolution Prepare report summaries & status reporting Assist in UAT Project related documentation Onsite – offshore coordination Daily task allocation to team members Resource planning & mentoring team members Ensure test environment is always in sync with production environment Facilitate code movement in test environment
