I am a global procurement leader with 18+ years of experience in sourcing strategy, cost optimization and market-based procurement in energy-intensive industries. My background combines experience across both utilities and industrial organizations, providing a unique end-to-end perspective on energy and commodity markets — from generation and trading to large-scale industrial procurement. In my current role at Knauf, I am responsible for the global energy procurement strategy across 300+ sites in more than 60 countries, with a focus on: - Strategic sourcing and cost optimization in volatile markets - Procurement governance, operating models and decision frameworks - Risk management, hedging strategies and long-term sourcing structures - Cross-functional collaboration between procurement, finance, operations and sustainability I am particularly interested in procurement strategies, cost transformation programs and the role of procurement as a strategic value driver in industrial organizations.
