As a Regional Head, I am responsible for upholding Samsung’s Semiconductor global leading success in the EMEA markets. This includes five key business segments: Memory, System LSI, Foundry, CSS and Display. Over the past 25+ years in this industry from launching new business to driving growth in both startups and large corporations, I’ve seen firsthand how people and empowered teams outperform strategies, models, and market predictions. Empowerment is a mindset, for this reason it is my mission as CEO of Samsung Semiconductor to foster an environment where people thrive and become the best versions of themselves. The real force behind our innovation journey is and remains human potential. My own path – from corporate to startup and back to corporate – has been shaped by both wins and failures, each teaching me invaluable lessons. From this journey I’ve learned that leadership isn’t about rushing – it’s about moving with clarity, purpose, and care. But it’s not just about me, in my pursuit to building a more innovative future, I stay closely connected to the startup ecosystem as a mentor and advisor. Managing all Samsung Semiconductor and Samsung Display business in Europe
Overseeing all Sales and Marketing activities for Samsung Semiconductor (Memory, S.LSI, Foundry) and for Samsung Display in Europe
Responsible for product management as well as technical & quality support for S.LSI product portfolio and this Business in EMEA
Responsible for global sales and business development activities as well as being the MD for the EMEA region
Responsible for the complete European FAE department to organize the field technical support across customer base and market segments (Automotive, Energy, Lighting, Healthcare, IoT)
Head of Sales creation & Biz Development team for telematics, car ITS, infotainment, mixed-signal, LED Lighting for EMEA Automotive
Global Product / System and Software Marketing for Automotive MCU w focus on Drivetrain and Safety Global Application Engineering for Auto MCUs
