Jordan River Restoration Coordinator with the Utah DNR Division of Forestry, Fire & State Lands. Previous experience with process-based riverscape restoration, and as a Project Manager at Sageland Collaborative. Master of Ecological Restoration degree from Utah State University.
• Design, budget, permit, manage, implement, and monitor watershed restoration projects for the Riverscape Restoration Program • Build lasting relationships with landowners, land managers, government officials, and project communities • Collaborate on regional restoration projects with diverse partners • Hire, manage, and mentor seasonal technician staff and contractors • Lead a community of volunteers in restoration ecology
• Soil chemical analysis regarding phosphorous and other nutrient pollution to mountain streams and lakes • Collaborate and develop scheduling between multiple laboratories and organizations
• Design, organize, permit, and monitor riparian restoration projects throughout Utah • Create an Adaptive Management assessment protocol to streamline project development decision making • Communicate science between landowners, government agencies, volunteers, and the general public through reports and community engagement
• Lead weekly labs for a mixed undergraduate and graduate level Watershed Hydrology course • Develop 25 students' comprehensive understanding of watershed processes and hydrologic data analytics
