About

JENNIFER LEE is a passionate, empathic, disciplined editor constantly searching for the next good story — and the best way to tell it. She has built her career editing film, comics, and prose. Chances are you've already seen Jenny's work via Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig's endlessly memed lip-sync of "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now." That scene comes from THE SKELETON TWINS, an indie feature that Jenny edited and produced. It premiered at Sundance and won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award. Other editing credits include YES, GOD, YES starring Natalia Dyer and Timothy Simons; MY BLIND BROTHER starring Adam Scott, Nick Kroll, and Jenny Slate; SUBMISSION starring Stanley Tucci and Kyra Sedgwick; and MASTER starring Regina Hall. Her TV work includes the Peabody Award-winning satirical doc DL HUGHLEY: THE ENDANGERED LIST and the pilot for the Golden Globe-winning RAMY, produced by A24. She recently edited THE FALLOUT, which won the Grand Jury Prize at SXSW before its acquisition by Warner Bros. She also cut SEE YOU YESTERDAY, produced by Spike Lee. It won the Indie Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay. Her latest film is the 20th Century Studios comedy ROSALINE, starring Kaitlyn Dever. Before working in film, Jenny honed her storytelling skills as a comic book editor for Marvel and DC. Her books include WOLVERINE, DAREDEVIL, BLACK WIDOW, 100 BULLETS, TRANSMETROPOLITAN, the KICK-ASS series, and the award-winning illustrated prose novel THE SANDMAN: THE DREAM HUNTERS. Jenny is based on the East Coast and lives close to New York. She is repped by Tara Kromer at Gersh.
