Bowen Therapy is a manual therapy applied by a therapist with her/his hands, using gentle rolling movements over the fascia; stimulating the bodys self correcting mechanisms, optimising spinal function and nervous system balance. Bowen therapy is largely based on osteopathic principles with strong influences of chiropractic work as well as oriental bodywork. Bowen technique is based on interpretations of the work of the late Tom Ambrose Bowen (Australia). Jenny qualified and immediately began practising as a Bowen Therapist in Melbourne in 2005 after working in various clinics as a skilled Manual Therapist.
