I care for children in the comfort of their own home. As a home health nurse, I provide care based on my assessments and use quick critical thinking in times of need. Example of skills performed include: seizure precautions, emergency medication administration in regards to seizures, tracheostomy care, vent trained, accessing a port-a-cath, mitrofanoff care, and medication administration through GJ tubes. I am able to work independently and efficiently to provide my patients the best care possible.
From complaints to positive comments, I have learned to effectively communicate with customers to deliver their needs. I have worked here for 4 years showing my commitment to a company. I communicate with upper management on company changes and reinforce changes to my crew members. I manage around a total of 8 crew members. Each crew member I have helped train on skills revolving customer service, cashier, and drink preparations. I express concerns from crew members to upper management. I also handle inventory orders based on weekly and previous sales.
Collaborate with Comcast and other members involved in the project to develop the My Pregnancy app. I created informational material for users if they wanted to read more information on any videos they view on the app. I wrote a total of about 130 video summaries in a couple of weeks. I also attended weekly meetings to update members of the project of my progress. This job has allowed me to enhance my communication skills while working in a team. It helped me learn how to work and write quickly and efficiently. It has also helped me learn how to educate patients through technology.
