Senior Internal Communications Specialist at Ordnance Survey

About

I have recently begun an exciting role at Ordnance Survey, helping to further develop the approach to internal communications. We're inspiring our colleagues to connect their work with the strategy and plans that are taking OS into the future. I previously led the internal communications for one of the largest councils in England, with a workforce of around 12,000 people. I love to create engaging, accessible communications, tailored to reach staff in different types of roles. Working closely with the services who need reach our colleagues, I plan and implement communications that will catalyse enthusiasm and call staff to action, as well as showing them the direct connection between their own work and the strategy of our business. I am also an experienced manager, who builds productive relationships within and across teams, and is comfortable advising senior stakeholders on sensitive issues.
