Following a decade in Institutional & Investment banking covering various sectors (infra, resources, Consumer & Industrials) in Australia and UK, I bring a commercial approach with a credit risk and relationship banking focus. Masters of Commercial Law (Banking and Environmental Law) graduate from the University of Melbourne with depth in banking and finance law and emerging risks/opportunities in sustainability and fintech. Debt financing in the energy sector (debt funds, project finance) to the private sector of emerging markets within Asia and Eastern Europe. Business development, origination, structuring, risk assessment & execution of project and corporate financing.
Coverage and analysis of the Natural Resources sector, and UK Water Sector for existing portfolio customers, and origination.
Portfolio management with specific focus on large scale renewables (greenfield and operating), PPP, government PTEs, transport infrastructure (airports) customers. Close collaboration with Project Finance team for the origination of new to bank deals, responsible for credit analysis of key counterparties and due diligence, with a commercial focus.
Experience in writing credit submissions for a range of customer requests within agreed time frames, working with key product partners (Trade Finance, Asset Finance, Loans and Syndications, Transactional and Financial Markets) to support deal origination and portfolio management. Specialised in LBO transactions in various points of PE ownership lifecycle (ie at inception, during the middle, and exit) with strategic industry focus in logistics, professional services, and manufacturing. Supported customers with debt structuring through the growth cycle including M&A events, restructuring, and downside events.
