Manage complex large scale wind turbine projects with full P&L responsibility. Proactively manage risks, issues and opportunities across the project lifecycle. Lead project planning, control and closure by ensuring alignment with milestones, enforcing safety and quality standards and executing timely corrective actions. Drive contract, change, and claim management by negotiating effectively with stakeholders. Provide strategic leadership by setting clear objectives with clear and focused communication along with fostering collaboration in the project team.
Planning, organizing, and ensuring that the wind turbine components, tooling, manuals, systems, and relevant facilities, personnel or material needed to for successful installation are in place from the early stages of the process (sales handover) to customer handover. Support the Senior Project Manager / Director and Commercial Project Manager in installation budget control, operational decisions, forecast and extra cost handling (claims, variation orders) as a strong planning, controlling, monitoring and negotiating partner and have delegated authority to make all sub project day-to-day decisions up to the agreed limits. Most recent project hit 1,000,000 labor hours with no recordable incidents.
