Mrs. Phelps served as Director for CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) where she was responsible for the asset management and disposition of Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) real estate owned receivership assets acquired as a result of bank failures across the United States. Prior to transitioning to CBRE, Mrs. Phelps served as a Vice President at Trammell Crow Company (TCC), a wholly owned development and investment subsidiary of CBRE and was responsible for the portfolio administration of TCC sponsored private-equity commercial real estate investment funds. Mrs. Phelps also served as the firm’s interface for individual and institutional stakeholders. Mrs. Phelps began her career in real estate as an analyst at Alex. Brown Realty (ABR) where she was responsible for fund administration and performance reporting to high net worth and institutional investors in ABR sponsored commercial real estate investment funds. Additionally, she managed portfolio level financial models with underlying joint venture partner investments in office, industrial, retail, multi-family, land, student housing, assisted living, and self-storage assets. Mrs. Phelps has worked in the commercial real estate asset services, development, and investment industries since 2000. She is a Wilson Presidential Scholar and a graduate of the Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore (UB). Mrs. Phelps has a strong calling to provide mentorship, education, and resources to disadvantaged children and deeply enjoys participating in groups organized to accomplish those goals as well as other social services initiatives.
