Our Mission The mission of The Avielle Foundation is to prevent violence and build compassion by fostering brain health research, education, and policy and; fostering community development, engagement, and responsibility. The foundation will do so by directing resources to support: 1. Breakthrough neuroscience research in brain health, bridging behavioral and biochemical sciences; 2. Community-based initiatives and programs which strengthen connectivity, empathy, and understanding. Our Vision It is the vision of the Avielle Foundation to reduce violence, and foster connection and compassion in our communities to support and protect vulnerable populations. This will be accomplished through brain health initiatives including neuroscience research and community supported programs. Scope The Avielle Foundation was incorporated in January, 2013 and is approved for exempt status as a 501(c)3.
