- Led a team of 200+ legal and non-legal professionals, providing strategic and pragmatic legal support across 13 APAC locations. - Oversaw multi-disciplinary legal matters, including commercial contracts, sustainable investing/ESG, employment law, data protection, dispute resolution, digital assets and e-banking, intellectual property, outsourcing, leasing, and marketing and events related advice. - Served as a trusted advisor to the APAC President, Divisional Heads, and Country Heads on complex, sensitive and high-impact legal, regulatory and governance matters. - Acted as a key member of Group Legal management team, as well as Business Management and Risk Committees, shaping regional legal strategy and enterprise-wide risk frameworks. - Strengthened organizational readiness for critical incidents by preparing teams for dawn raids, cybersecurity events, and business continuity challenges. - Engaged with regulators, statutory authorities and industry bodies, advocating for policy reforms and business-enabling regulatory developments.
