Now my role is Senior Legal Manager - Family. I have responsibility for the family jurisdiction regarding magistrates and legal advisers courts, training and work across the South east. From August 2016 I became the Training Legal Team Manager. I was promoted to Acting Deputy Justices' Clerk for Beds and Herts from April 2017. I covered all courts undertaking Adult, Youth and Family work. I previously worked as a Legal Team Manager initially acting up in the area of Family. From January 2008 to November 2015 I worked as a Tier 2 Legal Adviser in Beds and Herts. I was the lead legal adviser on the Youth Panel for 4 years. Then I worked as part of the Family Panel team. Jan 2001 to 2008: Tier 2 Legal Adviser in Hampshire March – December 2000: Assistant to Licensed Conveyancer I worked in property law as an assistant to a sole trader. I had a caseload dealing with the legal process of buying and selling private and commercial property. I was given 6 months credit towards my training contract for this work. March 1997 – March 2000: Research Analyst at Arthur Andersen I worked for a big 6 Accountant’s firm as a research analyst in the Corporate Finance department. I researched and presented information in short timescales to assist the Managers, Directors and Partners with investment and takeover bids.

      I have been appointed as a manager of a team of legal advisers. I lead a team of trainers for Magistrates and legal advisers across our cluster. I continue to sit as a legal adviser in all Adult courts, Youth courts and Family courts.
