• 16 bed multi-functioning ICU, Magnet recognized, Joint Commission Certified Stroke, Chest Pain, Hip & Knee replacement facility, Breast Center of Excellence distinction, recipient of Commission on Cancer Outstanding Achievement Award. • Patient populations include Surgical Cardiac, Trauma, Neuro, Oncological, Respiratory, Gastrointestinal, Infectious Disease, medical and surgical patients. • Cared for post-op open heart surgical patient’s, vented and other respiratory compromised patient’s including chest tubes, neuro compromised including EVD and post TPA, patients with A-lines. • Managed and titrated pressor and sedation drips, according to protocol, assisted with the administration of paralytics.
