Experienced and motivated marketing/communications professional. Passions include family, friends, sports, Spice Girls, Sopranos, travel and chips. -- I grew up in a family seafood business in rural Nova Scotia, working in rubber boots and hairnets during my teenage years. The pride I have for family businesses knows no bounds - the challenges, successes, legacy and teamwork has formed the type of person and team member that I am. This has also led me toward organizations that value their people and relationships first and foremost, which trickles down into satisfied and motivated employees. I do freelance work in sport marketing, utilizing my masters degree and combining it with my passion for athletics and my general fandom for all things sports. I spend my free time lugging either myself, my husband or our children to whatever ball field, rink, soccer pitch, tennis court or golf course that happens to be on the family calendar that day. Life is meant to be lived with the people you love doing things you enjoy in the places you want to be.
