I believe the quality of our workplaces defines the quality of our lives. For more than 15 years, I’ve built programs in recruitment, alumni engagement, and employee initiatives at York University that centre on one question: how do we create workplaces where people feel valued, heard, and supported? My approach combines employee experience design, engagement strategy, and change leadership with a deep respect for equity, diversity, and worker voice. I see unions and employee experience not as opposing forces, but as allies: both exist to ensure dignity, fairness, and the conditions for people to thrive. Highlights of my work include: 🧲 Leading undergraduate student recruitment and conversion strategies that increased student applications by 20%+ and built pipelines in key Canadian markets. 📈 Driving alumni engagement initiatives that grew participation by 7% annually and secured $1M+ in philanthropic support. 🚀 Coordinating complex program launches and events with budgets up to $40K and audiences of 12,000+. 💡 Creating simulations and workshops on employee experience for conference audiences, translating theory into practice. I lead with empathy, curiosity, and a belief that sometimes “good trouble” is what it takes to create lasting change. Whether launching new initiatives, mentoring teams, or shaping conversations around workplace culture, I aim to blend strategy and heart in every project. 📌 Focus Areas: Employee Experience | Organizational Culture | Engagement Strategy | Worker Voice | Equity, Diversity & Inclusion | Change Management If you’re exploring how to connect employee experience with dignity and equity, I’d love to connect.
